Encontré un sitio que comenta un montón de cosas de física, desde la velocidad de la luz (y cómo fue calculada) hasta la teoría de la relatividad, viajes en el tiempo y montones de cosas más. Imperdible para los geeks de Z.

ProductBoard today is launching a provider for electronic product managers that helps them greater organize consumer research and determine which elements deserve priority. Making its public debut at TechCrunch Disrupt San Francisco. this product management system is now being chosen by over 100 paying shoppers during its beta to establish their product roadmaps and collaborate with engineering teams on their own upcoming feature releases.
Product managers today take enter from the range of channels when determining what to make next - for example, customer assistance tickets, emails, enter from sales teams or even direct consumer research. But when it comes to organizing all this answers within a coherent fashion, they even now often turn to much more generalized resources, like spreadsheets, Google Docs, note-taking applications or wikis to make feeling of it all.
ProductBoard, however, is made specifically for organizing, aggregating and prioritizing a lengthy list of attributes that want to be engineered.
The support operates with solutions where product feedback is initially gathered, this sort of as Zendesk, Intercom and others. Additionally, it features a Chrome extension for grabbing snippets from the internet, can obtain answers you send in through email and performs with Zapier for further connections to third-party applications.
These feedback requests are then centralized in a single interface, and can then be linked with the feature they would inspire.
That's to say, ProductBoard permits you to see who’s asking to the change, why the feature is necessary, what problem it solves plus much more. In addition it utilizes an algorithm that sums up the feature requests in its structure to help product managers understand the problems those functionality would solve, and how they’re associated with the larger strategic drivers for that small business.
PM’s can then organize the abilities into a hierarchy directly with the application to help them visualize their priorities based upon the details at hand. A person impact score can also be displayed inside of the app’s right-hand column, which helps the industry superior determine how to rank which items to make before others.
And when it is time to actually begin the function of putting together the functions themselves, ProductBoard integrates with the assorted methods engineering teams to do track their perform - like Trello, Pivotal Tracker or Atlassian’s JIRA. Also to sending facts from ProductBoard to those solutions, the company supports two-way sync so you'll be able to also see the feature’s existing improvement status in ProductBoard.
The idea with the startup comes from co-founder and CEO Hubert Palan’s possess background in product management. He has an MBA from Berkeley and master’s in computer science from Czech Technical University, and moved to the Bay Area where he later became employee No. 6 at internet marketing business intelligence system GoodData.
Over several years at GoodData, he went from the junior PM role to become VP of product management, even as the organization itself grew from the minimal team of six to some 300 staff and raised $100 million in VC backing.
There, Palan says he personally knowledgeable the pains involved with product management today.
“As product managers, designers and people who make product decisions, we have really been by making use of equipment made for the delivery - engineering applications,” explains Palan. “They have been all intended to help you generate [the features]… There’s no concept of ‘customer,’ or in the problem or really need that the product is solving. It doesn’t even exist within the consumer interface,” he says.
